Carson joined Petra in 2025 and is responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, executing transactions, and collaborating with portfolio company management in the development and execution of value creation initiatives.

Prior to joining Petra, Carson was an Associate at Avondale Partners, a Nashville-based lower middle market investment bank. At Avondale, he advised on a variety of transactions across the healthcare services and healthcare IT sectors, with a particular focus on the behavioral health subsector.

Carson earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
