Mike is an entrepreneur, board member, and investor with experience in a diverse array of industries. Petra was introduced to Mike through our investment in T2 Systems, a leader in providing mission-critical software, hardware and infrastructure to the parking industry, which Mike co-founded in 1994 and led the company in the role of president, CEO, and Chairman. From T2’s founding until the company was acquired by Thoma Bravo in 2016, Mike helped grow the company to 325 people and $60+ million in revenue. Under Mike’s leadership, T2 has been recognized in the Inc. 500, Software 500, Deloitte Technology Fast 500, E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year, Indiana Growth 100, and as an Indiana Company to Watch. Prior to founding T2, Mike’s career included marketing, sales and project management at IBM, PepsiCo and General Motors. He graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering.
Mike remains an informal advisor to T2, and now manages Jupiter Peak, LLC, a family investment company that invests capital in early stage technology companies, venture capital, private equity, real estate, and other business ventures.
Currently, Mike serves as the largest shareholder and chairman of Sharpen Technologies, a progressive, growing Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) technology company based in downtown Indy. Mike also serves on the boards of BP3 Global, MomentPath, TEZ, the Indiana Repertory Theater, the Central Indiana Community Foundation, and IMPACT Central Indiana. He is the former board chair of Junior Achievement of Central Indiana, and the Techpoint Foundation. He also was a member of the board of directors of the International Parking Institute for eight years.
His latest project – SILO Auto Club and Conservancy — centers around his love of collectible and performance cars in downtown Indy, where he lives with his wife, Liz. They both enjoy golf, skiing, and good wine, as well as spending a portion of the year in Park City, Utah.
