Jeff Freedman

Jeff is a healthcare entrepreneur and operator with more than 25 years of experience starting, managing and growing healthcare services businesses, including within pharmacy, home health care, respiratory therapy, DME and medical supplies.  Over the course of his career, Jeff’s functional responsibilities have included M&A and Business Development, Operations, Sales and Legal.

Jeff has worked with private equity investors during his career to co-found Salveo Specialty Pharmacy which was recognized as the 2015 SBIA Portfolio Company of the Year, and in-home care provider Etairos Health, both of which have been Petra portfolio companies.  In addition to Salveo and Etairos for which Jeff currently serves as Executive Chairman, Jeff previously co-founded a privately-held medical supplies business and a diagnostic sleep therapy business.  Earlier in his career, Jeff held management positions at three publicly-traded healthcare companies, Rotech Healthcare, Apria Healthcare and Lincare, as well as at PE-backed infusion pharmacy company Amerita.

In addition to Etairos, Jeff is currently an investor and Executive Chairman of Petra portfolio company Aging with Comfort, a Pennsylvania-based Medicaid home care provider, an investor and director on the board of American Vascular Associates, and an investor in several other healthcare businesses and healthcare investment funds.  Jeff also currently serves on the board of Shorecrest Preparatory School, and as an investor and advisory board member to 3 Daughters Brewing, Florida’s largest independent brewery.  Jeff received an undergraduate degree from Duke University and a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law.
