Melanie manages the Firm’s SBA and limited partner reporting.  She has over 30 years experience in the venture capital industry, particularly in the areas of fund accounting, financial reporting, tax management, and portfolio analysis. Prior to joining Petra in 2013, she was Controller of Coleman Swenson Booth Inc., a Tennessee based venture capital firm, focusing on investments in all sectors of healthcare and life sciences.  She began her career at Coleman Swenson in 1992 as an Investment Associate.  Melanie earned her B.B.A. in finance from Belmont University.
